The Story Behind Forgiftable

Forgiftable was inspired, in part, by my mom.

My mom has five children and thirteen grandchildren, and somehow, she manages to remember everyone's birthday. I've always appreciated that about her, and when I first shared my idea for Forgiftable, she encouraged me to pursue it.

A few years ago, I came up with the idea for Forgiftable because, quite honestly, I needed something like it myself! Between cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, and family, there were so many birthdays and special occasions I wanted to remember.

I wanted to be more thoughtful, plan ahead, and make sure the people in my life knew I was thinking of them. But with everything life throws our way, remembering every important date and finding the right gift isn't always easy.

That's where the idea for Forgiftable began.

I envisioned a simple service that would help people remember important occasions, stay organized, and make thoughtful gift-giving easier. Something that could take the stress out of remembering birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and other special moments.

And here we are!

I'm building something I genuinely need myself, and my hope is that Forgiftable makes life a little easier for you, too. Because sometimes it's the simplest gestures, like remembering a birthday or sending an unexpected gift, that mean the most.
